Tips and ideas to help you through your pregnancy

Difficulty Sleepingpregnant woman

Early on in pregnancy as you are trying to drift off to sleep, you might find your mind buzzing with all the things you have to do before your baby arrives, or just adjusting to the idea that you are pregnant.  Later trouble sleeping may strike when your bump gets in the way of a comfy position or your baby might be very busy turning somersaults just as the lights go out!

Some people find relaxation tapes useful, or you can make your own playlist of relaxing songs to lull you to sleep.

A pillow between your knees can also help you to feel comfortable with a bump.

Morning Sickness

What could be worse than standing on a packed tube train, exhausted at the end of a long week at work, the commuter next to you is eating something that is turning your stomach, you have morning sickness AND its not even morning!

Well first of all take comfort that it is absolutely natural to feel nauseus.  Some people find that eating ginger helps; ginger tea, ginger ale or even ginger biscuits, frequent small snacks can help for some people or try an acupressure wrist band.
